Chesapeake – In recognition of Virginia Business Appreciation Month, celebrated in May, the Chesapeake Economic Development Department, is pleased to announce our 2015 Business of the Year recipients. Taylor Made Diagnostics, Incorporated is the Chesapeake Economic Development Authority’s 2015 Business of the Year.
Taylor Made Diagnostics Inc., operates an occupational health clinic and mobile medical teams which have provided services to more than 1,700 federal, state and local employers. Founded by Caroline Taylor, a Registered Nurse (RN), with over 27 years of healthcare experience, Taylor Made will celebrate its 20th Anniversary this year. In 2009, Taylor Made expanded and was the first business to purchase an office condo in the new Gateway at SoNo complex. With headquarters in Chesapeake’s South Norfolk area, Taylor Made has grown to 18 employees.
Taylor Made supports many charities such as the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, HER Women’s Shelter, South Norfolk’s National Night Out Sponsor and the South Norfolk Angel Tree. “To be recognized as the Chesapeake Business of the Year is truly an honor,” said Caroline Taylor, RN, Founder and President of Taylor Made Diagnostics (TMD). “We look forward to continued growth as our focus produces responsive, committed and innovative workforce solutions to ‘Protect the Health of local and national businesses’.” read more…
